CBS Question - trading draft picks

Can CBS facilitate this? as in, reflect it in the online draft?

If you use the commissioner's league I'm pretty sure you can. I could have sworn I saw that option last year, but it's not showing up right now. Sometimes in the off season when you haven't yet paid for the following year you don't see everything there is.

We don't allow it in our league, so I don't know how it works if it is there.

But even if the interface didn't do it automatically, you can always manually change the draft order to complete the trade by going to
Setup -> Draft&Rosters, clicking the "set draft order" link, then finally clicking the "Set Customized Draft Order" link on the draft order page. You're able to set picks for each round of your draft there.

yes they handle it, in fact it is really neat. when you go to trade players you can also see all your draft picks & the other teams picks. you can trade your player & certain picks for their player & picks right there in the trade offer. The commish might have to re-enter them into the draft, but we've done it the last few years & its really easier now with the new setup

It's easy. The commissioner needs to specifically allow it in the settings. It's just a simple "allow trading of draft picks". Commissioner checks it, and when you propose trades, you have all the draft picks listed along with all your players.

Yeah I knew I saw that during the season, but it's not there now for mine. Probably just an offseason issue as I mentioned.

I also don't see it anymore, but also haven't paid yet for 2009 so we'll see.

It's still an option on my settings.

It's under "League Rules" -------------------> "transactions". All the way at the bottom.

I see it there also as an option, but when two teams try to trade with each other right now, its not in their dropdowns along with their players.

Weird. It's there today, but it most definitely was NOT there yesterday. I checked twice. Looks like they're already doing a lot of 2009 updates based on the main page.
