Barrett is a woefully unimpressive catcher. I'm sorry, Jays Fan. This is not going to turn out well for you unless he gets an arm transplant.

Gregg Zaun wasn't any better at throwing runners out. This will work out quite well for their purposes (finding an offensive catcher so Thigpen doesn't have to get AB).

I still remember when Barret was raised by the rafters like a Superman at home opener years ago here.

Toronto is pittiful when it comes to the catcher, I think that Barajas is better then him anyways. He is a good back up, and better then Greg Zaun (not that that says much at all...)

He's also working for practically minimum wage.
