I'd have to politely disagree here. Depending on what 2nd baseman falls to him in the draft if he was to keep Hamilton, he might end up really losing out overall. I am not an advocate of drafting a player just because his position is scarce, but I believe the difference in output between Kinsler and Hamilton is close enough to let position scarcity actually be a factor in this decision. Don't forget that Kinsler put up top-15 stats even while missing the entire last month of the season. He's a stud who continues to improve. I think you'd eventually regret taking Hamilton.



Well close, but I don't think anyone would regret having Hamilton, its just that in this case you would wish you had kept Kinsler instead. This is a choice of keepers to build your team around, and Kinsler best fits here, it is not a question of who you would draft 1st in a re-draft.
