Zimmerman is just another lowly National, that has a tendency to get injured and hurt your fantasy teams, the only thing sleeper about this guy is the sleeper hold You'll want to put on him when he again goes down with another WRIST injury that saps his already middling power in a HUGE home ballpark.

I completely agree with this. On the surface he seems like a good guy to target due to his prospect status and injuries last season, but I doubt he will fall outside of the top 100. I also think that his defense abilities have slightly elevated his fantasy status in prior years because of being such a highly touted 5-tool player. Overall, I don't think he's a terrible guy to take a gamble on since the Nats could surprise with the offensive pieces in place like Dukes, Milledge, etc. I just wouldn't call him a sleeper or reach for him.
actually to me there have been very few sleepers discussed here. I think Zimm goes not long after the top 100. Is Headley even 3rd base elig? my leagues he's not I know. Alot of the posts here would fall under the who to take after the top 3rd basemen are gone heading.

7 games there in 2008. eligible in standard yahoo formats.
Well, with all due respect to all of your comments on regarding Zim. I'm in a couple of keeper leagues, one is a 10 teamer where we keep 10, another is a 12 teamer where we keep 9.
He isn't being kept in either which leads me to believe that he could easily fall out of the top 100 in many leagues this year.
To me thats a steal.
Maybe in highly competitive leagues involving cafe regulars Zim maintains most of his value but to the majority of fantasy baseball players out there I think his last years stat line and injury issues will result in a significant drop.
Perhaps "sleeper" isn't the right word but I think he's a player that could give top 50 numbers while getting drafted outside of the top 100.

This is poor reasoning. It does not take into account teams that have 15 players in the Top 100 or teams that have 8. If I have 15 and Zimmerman is the 11th and doesn't make the cut, that doesn't mean he isn't a Top 100 player.
