I see him sleeping on the waiver wire of most leagues, where all of the other 10-15HR/ low BA. guys are.
I'm not sure why you think he's going to be a low BA guy. He bat .301 in 4 seasons in the minors, and bat .270 in his first 331 major league at bats, playing out of position, in the most pitcher friendly park in baseball. I think he's fully capable of batting .290 over the course of an entire season.
In his half-season with the Padres in 2008, Headley hit .301/.361/.470 with five homers on the road, but only .230/.307/.358 with four homers at home. I don't see him hitting .300 on the road again, and I continue to see him hit poorly in SD, where the long ball (HRs&2Bs, Headley's strength) are negated.

This made me laugh. I'm not saying he'll hit 25+ but you make it sound like since he didn't do it in the minors its not possible to do it in the bigs. Just about every hitter, that is fantasy worthy, out there has hit more homers in the bigs than they did in the minors.
If he was hitting in a more neutral stadium, fine. If we were talking a couple years from now, fine. I should've added "in 2009" to clarify, because we're talking about sleepers for 2009. I am fairly certain he won't top 20 this season, though I do think that he might top 25 sometime in the future.
Rocinante2: you know Rocinante2: its easy to dismiss the orioles as a bad team ofanrex: go on Rocinante2: i'm done Rocinante2: lmao

Not me +1, but he's ahead of Headley in my book, same stats in 100+ fewer at bats (won't hurt as bad).
He's always been highly touted, tough break with injuries last year, I think the Nats are in line for an improvement in 09, especially their bats. He's also turning 25 which is where many players break out.
Based on his numbers last year he'll be available on the cheap.

no way hes available "on the cheap"...he'll be taken in the 6-8th rounds pretty much in every league. not really a bargain and to be honest i cant see him outproducing that by all that much. maybe 2 rounds or so.
i think everyone knows about zimm already and hes in their top 10 third basemen.
