I just completed my draft in a 10-team keeper leaguer. The first 2 picks were Jason Bay and Adrian Gonzalez and the first pitchers were Carlos Zambrano and Ervin Santana, just so you can decide what a first round pick is worth.
I drafted Brian Roberts in the second and Robinson Cano in the third. So, I am offering both of these guys and a 1st for Ian Kinsler, who I think is the best fantasy 2nd baseman.
Who gets the better side?
Jay Bruce is mah franchize. I love you Chris Davis!
i think it's too much to give up. if a first rounder can net you a bay or agonz, i'd most likely take that when combined with roberts alone over kinsler. i love me some kinsler, but you're overpaying imo.

Oh ok. I agree with Giants then, probably too much to give up if you can land quality guys like AGon in the first round. If you had fewer keepers, I'd pull the trigger to upgrade your overall keepers.
I think Cano + Roberts and a 1st next year would be fairly even. He would likely have Kinsler as a keeper next year, but not Cano or Roberts. The extra 1st would make up for it for next year. For this year, to take the downward hit from Kinsler to Roberts, and extra player (Cano) would need to be thrown in.
Ok, so 60 bats will be kept, at most, that means both Cano/Roberts will go back into the pool next yr. That makes your deal Kinsler, a possible 1st rounder, for no better than the #61 pick. I'd make that deal.

How is Roberts not at least a top 60 bat?
Could be, but ' I' think not. I do know that Kinsler is a possible 1st rounder and I'd play that card.
