I'd move Santana because you can get the most for him. He's my #1 pitcher for 2009, but if I could move him for a 1st or early second round hitter, I would. There is slight (no...very slight) risk with him due to workload and declining K-rate and WHIP in 2008 even though he moved to the NL. It's probably nothing to worry about since he's historically been so dependable, but he is who I would move.
I'd move Johan, Peavy and Hamels can anchor a staff and Johan can get you the best return. He's a top 15 pick usually so any elite second rounder is reasonable.
All three should carry substantial value. I think if someone is stuck on name value rather than the trade rumors, I'd think about dangling Peavy first. Otherwise, Johan should net you a bona fide first rounder.
Move the guy that you can get a legit 1st rounder for, 'cause any two of the three are enough to anchor your staff. The guy I'd prefer to move, if he would bring a 1st rounder, would be Hamels.
I'd deal Peavy over the other two in a heartbeat. Most troublesome delivery, and most troublesome team. I can see the Padres losing 100 games in '09. Keep the aces on the contending teams. Johan with a legit pen backing him again is DANGEROUS. 20 wins can be expected once more.

I posted your team you sent me...thanks for the help
You need to bolster your MI and CI. I would try to trade Peavy for Morneau or Gonzalaz. Or I would try to trade Santana and improve my CI and C.
i'd look to trade peavy first for sure. i have the other two ranked over him next year, but i think he should still bring back close to what either of the other two do. if you can get a decently better package by dealing one of the other two, that's fine, but i'd start with peavy.
