There is a topic for everyone to argue how much they hate the Yankees for this signing, but more importantly... What does this signing do for Teixeira's fantasy value? I would think it sure as hell benefits him, from hitting behind/in front of one of the best hitters in the history of baseball to hitting in one of the best parks for LH hitters in the game. Does he become a first rounder with this move? Any projections?
.300 - 120 - 40 - 120 is my guess. I have to think his HR totals will increase now that he is no longer the best hitter in the lineup.

Ive bumped him ahead of Hamilton as a top 10 pick in my points ranking. i think he is solid and cant see a downside in that lineup. He is ALMOST without risk.
Not sure about roto as Teixeira lack of SB may still leave him behind Hamilton. I'm sure roto players will opine on that.
I'm considering bumping Tex above Howard in my 1B rankings. Have yet to put together a composite ranking, but I would guess he just moved from top 20 to top 12.

IMO Teixeira should have easily been ahead of Howard even before the signing
Howard's 100+ runs, 140+ RBIs, and 45+ homers were tough to ignore.

Tex was #2 in my 1B rankings before the trade and he'll be #2 now after the trade. I might bump his numbers a little but I think he'll be pretty much be the same as where I had him already.
I already had him here before the trade, the only thing I will look at bumping will be to possibly give him 5-10 more runs, up around 115 or so. 600AB 0.300/.396/.542 35HR 120RBI 108R 0SB

This is what I am thinking too. Bump runs a bit, dependent upon what the line up ends up being. I am hoping he gets drafted by a Yankee fan and has a slow April, so I can trade for him cheap(ish)ly.
$32 would be a good buy, but IMO he will go for 34-36 in most regular leagues..around rbraun, hamilton, mholliday, sizemore, clee and just below the top guys (hanley, a-rod, albert, reyes, dwright)
