Which 10?

Postby slickterp » Tue Dec 23, 2008 4:43 pm

Which 10 do I keep? 5 year contracts instituted last year, so all these guys will have 4 years left.

Ryan Doumit, Morneau, Brandon Phillips, Migueal Cabrera, Justin Upton, Dunn, Abreu, Delmon Young, Andre Ethier, Salty, Cole Hamels, John Lackey, Liriano, Garza, Phil Hughes

I will be able to deal those not kept for draft picks and restock. I have won this league 3 years running. My thought for keepers is:

Moreau, Cabrera, Upton, Hamels, Lackey, Liriano, Phillips, Young, Dunn, Salty (with Salty being the waffle, I don't know if he'll do it quite yet...)

Miguel Cabrera ;-D
Justin Upton ;-D

Delmon Young
Andre Ethier
Salty
Cole Hamels ;-D
John Lackey ;-D
Liriano ;-D
Garza
Phil Hughes

the last spot is between delmon young, andre ethier and doumit. i'd probably go with doumit, but i can see the argument for any of them.

I agree with this. I'd make Doumit my last keeper because you need a C and already have 3 OF. Otherwise, I would have gone with Ethier.

I agree with the above 2 posters. If you have a Utility spot you could go with Young or Ethier

The hell with Salty - Doumit is well worth keeping. Don't hesitate.
