Help with possible trade

Postby oakscorps » Sat Dec 20, 2008 3:02 pm

7x7 12 team H2H keeper league, I won the league easily this year but would like to make a 2 or 3 for 1 trade to improve my keepers. I have tried to trade Rios with no takers which I was surpised since this league does Cf, LF, RF, UTIL instead of just OF. I've gotten some decent offers for SIzemore but not good enough, offers like Haren for SIzemore and Markakis for Sizemore. I just put Quentin out there but its early to expect any offers yet

Here are my keepers and some leftovers

Pujols
Kinsler
Reyes )SS)
Wright (3B)
Sizemore (CF)
Quentin (LF CWS)
Rios (RF)
Peavy

Leftovers: Liriano, Cliff Lee, Votto, Either

Your team seems pretty solid. The only player I would move is Rios like you said. Maybe try to get Jay Bruce

its just gonna be difficult to pull off many upgrades when your keepers are as good as they are. since rios got no bites, i'd just sit back now and see what kind of interest you get in quentin.

What about Rios for Mccann, since this league does LF, CF, RF it seems that I can get a better Rf or LF in the 1st or second round then I can C with it being 12 teams and that probably 4-5 C will be kept

i'd probably pull the trigger on that one given your situation.

I can trade Peavy for Mccann or Martin from Dodgers

Should I make the trade, the fact is I can get good pitching in the draft or is trading RIos for mccann a better decision

Would u rather have Mccann or Martin in a league that does H, HR, RBI, R, SB, K, and AVG

Received another offer

I would get Mccann for Lee, Liriano, and Votto

Creates problems because it gives me 9 keepers when I only need 8, the positive is I could try and package Rios and Quentin or Mccann and one of them for an elite player since I have until Jan 15th to announce keepers
