i see NO potential aces nor quality starters here..except for the very deepest of leagues, in which case gio gonzalez or brett cecil may have limited success..carrasco showed 08 improvement but i am not convinced

I like Carrasco, Gonzalez, Cecil, and Boggs on the outside on that list. But no #1's there IMO, though some believe that Carrasco has the potential.

juan ramirez has ace potential......he lowered his BB's significantly in '08 and maintained solid K and GB rates........his numbers may take a step back going to High Desert in the CAL league next year, but he's making steady progress
