Keeper question. I am in a 12 team, 6 keeper league. My keeper's aren't terribly strong, but I have an excellent Minor League system and this is what I will be entering the 2009 draft with, not including my 6th keeper:
C Clement, Jeff ** 1B Howard, Ryan * 2B Stewart, Ian ** SS Tulowitzki, Troy ** 3B OF Braun, Ryan ** OF Crawford, Carl * OF Guerrero, Vladimir * UTIL Kemp, Matt * BN Bruce, Jay **
SP Hernandez, Felix * SP Gallardo, Yovani ** RP RP P Chamberlain, Joba ** P Buchholz, Clay ** P
* Keeper ** Farm Keeper
That's what I am going into the draft with. I plan on drafting another catcher because I can't roll with Clement all year, and I'm not sure about the Stewart-Kendrick decision (Stewart will have 2B eligibility for the year). Kendrick has decent upside, but would he really be better than Stewart at this point? And Bedard would be a very risky pick, but he also has a pretty high amount of upside. Based off my roster, who would you keep: Kendrick or Bedard? Thanks, and I WHIR, just leave me a link. Thanks guys!
C: Pierzynski 1B: Pujols 2B: Altuve 3B: Miggy SS: HanRam OF (x3): CarGo, M. Bourn, D. Jennings UTIL (x2): E. Encarnacion, C. Hart BN: Cuddyer, C. Ross, J. Montero
haha alright, what kind of move do you want to make?

Based on your situation, I'd take a chance with Bedard. Kendrick doesn't give much anyway at this point other than a hollow average, and you have Stewart for 2B.
With your 12th pick you can afford the risk. If he stays healthy, a big if mind you, he could be in the top 10 for batting average this year, perhaps even batting champion.
As an Angel fan, I have seen this guy play. He hits everything hard on the line or ground. He is going to be the next Garrett Anderson in his prime. Hit a lot of doubles, hit for some power (20-25 Hrs per year) and hit for a very high average. My prediciton if he stays healthly this year.
