but seriously, who would be beating on a woman carrying your unborn child? twice!! i mean if he's crazy enough to do this to a pregnant woman, he is probably doing even worse things when she wasn't pregnant.

there's likely another side to the story since this involves $10 million but still...

Giles is clearly wrong here, but I also have to question a woman who hangs around an abuser for 7 years and gets pregnant 3 times by him. The mere fact that she stuck around indicates that she thought the abuse was a reasonable price to pay for a hundred million dollar lifestyle. What was stopping her from walking away other than the fact she did not want to go back to living on modest means or was hanging around hoping for marriage and a big payday? It was a voluntary arrangement, why did she stick around?
