Im the commish of a 12 team $$ mixed keeper league that is headed into it's 3rd year. I had a drastic 5 teams drop out on me (after none last year) most not wanting to pay the $$ to get back in as it is a $200.00 buy in and we all know the economy is really tough right now. It's a extremely serious veteran league. I know I may not get all 5 teams new owners, but will give it a shot. Im willing to roll with 10-11 teams and the other 7 committed owners know this . We do run on CBS and have a slow draft starting late Febuary and the players you keep will stay in the round they were drafted last year. It is a total $$ payout league with winners getting paid via paypal within 24 hours after season ends (last year 1st took home $1300, 2nd place $700 and 3rd $400). Ive replied to several post of people interested, I just wanted to add a couple things. Team 3 is not avail as the prev owner has decided to return and here is an updated constitution of the league.
Constitution: This is a 12 team, mixed Roto 5x5 style Keeper League. League Entry Fee has got to be received by Mar 1st 2009
Payouts: 1ST PLACE-$1300, 2ND PLACE $700 3RD PLACE $400
The Draft: * Slow draft online on CBS site * The Date & Time will be determined by league vote. * The Slow Draft order will be in reverse order of prevoius year standings (Last place team of 08' picks first)
The Player Pool is AL and NL Players. Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF (5), U (3) and P (9) Eligibility: Players are eligible at their primary position, plus positions they've played 10 games last year or 5 games this year. Transactions: Lineups are set once for the start of each period. Deadline is 30 minutes before gametime on the first day of the period. * Owners may set lineups and change players' positions. * Only players who are on the disabled list may be placed into Injured status. * Add/drops are handled by a waivers process. Initial waiver order will be in reverse of the draft order once the season starts and the waiver order will reset weekly. Each weeks waiver order is based on reverse order of the standings. Once you make a successful waiver claim, you will be moved to the bottom of the waiver ranking list. * The waivers process runs on Sunday to Saturday. * Pre Season/Off Season has no waivers due to no standings. * Dropped players remain on waivers for at least 1 day. * Reserve Players allowed is 4 * DL spots allowed is 4. The player must show as being on D.L. by CBS Sportsline under M.L. Status) Once officially off the D.L., player must be either moved onto active roster or placed in reserve on the Monday following his M.L. activation * Trades are subject to a 24 hour voting period, where at most 6 objections are allowed. Trades receiving 6 objections are Vetoed * 5 Keepers can be kept, you can determine your 5 keepers and submit the choices to me. For redraft in 2009, those 5 keepers will be drafted in previous years round and fill in the slot for that round. If you trade and have more than 1 player drafted in the previous years same round, those players will just fill in the round above it in the draft (1st, 2nd, 3rd round etc). For example Alex Rodriguez will be kept by me as one of my 5 keepers, and he will be my 1st round pick in 2009 (as he was in 2008), so I DO NOT have a 1st round pick as he will fill that slot already, if I end up keeping another guy who was picked in the 1st round in 2008, he would default to my 2nd round pick and fill that slot ..and so on.

I have participated in this league from the beginning and can attest to timely payouts and great competition. In fact, last year's top three positions were not determined until the play in games were complete.
Team 5 is still available. If you would be interested in shaking this lineup up, this group loves to trade in the off season and know you could have a much different 5 keepers though trading you'd be happy with. Let me know
