So I'm in a 24 team dynasty league. I own Alex Gordon, who's upside I love. I was offered Chipper, Bill Hall and Neftali Soto (sorry about butchering his name!).
Now normally with Gordon's upside, I wouldn't even think about moving him in a Dynasty, but getting Chipper, Hall for backup and Soto who I flat out just like I think this makes a pretty decent trade.
What do you think?

Are you in position to win the league this year? Obviously Chipper is going to help you more than Gordon than next year or too.
If you have no chance of winning with or without Chipper than hold off. But if you think you have shot, pull the trigger

I think I have a real solid shot. I have a very strong starting staff and a pretty veteran lineup. I'm thinking that pulling the trigger is the right way to go.

I wouldn't expect the same numbers from Chipper but he should give a very nice return. Plus you could always move during the season for a weakness.
That is a solid point. I'm getting Soto as well, who looks to be a pretty nice young 3B prospect.
