Ok I think this is not at all even close to a balanced offer, guy who offered it sounded supprised at my reaction, am I missing something (cause I've been wrong before a time or 12)? I'd be GIVING: Miguel Cabrera 46/3 Dustin Pedroia 2B $1/1yrs Josh Hamilton $4/1 yr Jacob McGee P $1/2yrs
I'd be GETTING: Evan Longoria $2/2yr Roy Halladay $21/2 Jose Lopez $1/4

for a standard 5x5, no mi/ci, 3 of,1 utl ,9 p league
Miguel Cabrera 46/3 - ok so he's only worth $40 Dustin Pedroia 2B $1/1yrs - not bad for a $20+ guy Josh Hamilton $4/1 yr - just a tick under Mcab Jacob McGee P $1/2yrs - who cares at this point
Evan Longoria $2/2yr - could return you $20 Roy Halladay $21/2 - right on the button here Jose Lopez $1/4 - nice player at maybe $15

i believe that's what the previous posters were assuming. for this season, it is a good deal for you if you are making a run at the title. to make a worthwhile suggestion though, we'll all need to see your roster.

ya i'd take it. what you're getting is A LOT better this year and while his probably gets better in 2010, its not enough to overcome the value you get in 2009.
Tough call. I think it depends on how much you can keep Hamilton after '09 and if you could retain him. You surely cut a lot of cost in dealing M-Cab for Halladay/Longoria while getting a 3B for the future with M-Cab slated to be designated as only 1B the year after. I'm not that high on Pedroia, but maybe you can milk a little bit more than Jose Lopez, with Pedroia's stock inflated.
