I'd like to think that something could be learned from an expert's draft. It's really disappointing when you have to search to find it. It will take some time to completely analyse the draft and try to find some sense in it. I'm sure there is some good to find.
But I'll start with some thoughts that jump out at a first glance.
1.Soriano before Holliday. That's nuts even with Holliday now with Oakland
2. Kemp and Ellsbury before Guerrero,Ichiro, and Crawford. I don't think so.
3.Soto and Votto before Webb and Peavy.
4. Edwin Encanacion ( Funston's Pick ) before Nathan,Chipper, Abreau, Felix . I bet I could find 50 players I would rather have than EE at that stage of the draft.
I'm sure everyone has opinions on picks taken too early and too late . I already can see that I like the Caf's mock draft better.
This may be a good tread in that we can see different peoples thoughts on drafting.
