I was an avid fantasy baseball player about three years ago and played in a pretty fun/competitive league with some friends. Most of the league, including myself, began to get bored, and the league folded. It was fun while it lasted, but I haven't played fantasy baseball since.
I'm trying to get back into fantasy baseball again though. I've got the fever! The only problem is, having been out of the game for a few years, I know nothing about which players to target or avoid. I'm a huge Cardinals fan and of course watch them, and I follow baseball closely. But I can remember back when I still played fantasy baseball, I could tell you my opinion on what round every player in MLB should be drafted. Now, I go over to the Baseball Leftovers section and see a top 100 for 2009, and I don't understand how Ian Kinsler could be ranked 17th! I knew he was good, but wow!
Anyway, this site looks like the place to be for fantasy baseball fans. I am excited to get going... now I just need to find a league!

"I do not think baseball of today is any better than it was 30 years ago... I still think Radbourne is the greatest of the pitchers." John Sullivan 1914-Old athletes never change.
