Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

I just received an offer from someone in my keeper league. I get Tulowitzki and trade James Shields. I do not have a keeper SS and the draft this year will be slim. I have Peavy, Matsuzaka, and Saunders in addition to Shields. I am leaning towards accepting this trade, but Tulo's injury last year makes me nervous.
What would you do?

I too would rather have Tulo as a keeper...especially since you've got other keeper SP's!

I would prefer to hang out to Shields and trade Matsuzaka. However, no such deal could be made. Tulos only 23 and if can put up anything like he did in '07 then losing Shields would be worth it.

It's hard to give an answer without knowing who the free agent shortstops are. This is a fair trade. I would do the trade only if there were no good shortstops available.

It is a 10 team, 14 keeper, H2H league. Free agency is pretty grim for SS and 3B this year. I had holes at both positions. SP isn't as barren. Shields is a fine player, but I can replace his stats. Also, position players offer 9 possible points a week while pitchers only offer 7, and in this case 6 due to saves.

I think filling SP will be easier than filling SS, so given the facts you'vce stated I would make the trade.
