I like the LaPorta and Parker side. With prospects, my mentality is to always jump at the highest reward - and I feel these two have a better chance right now.
Laporta - 288/.402/.576 in AA with 20HR in 302AB 43BB 63K I think the power is real, and I think he has a good career in the majors. I am just not convinced that he will be an all star caliber player.
CGonzalez - .283/.344/.416 in AAA with 4HR in 173AB 16BB 35K, .242/.273/.361 4HR 13BB 81K in majors Carlos struggled with Ks, but you have to like him playing half his games at Coors. He also can throw in a handful of SB (10 in 2007, 16 in 2006).
Parker- Still a few years away, but a K per inning as a 19 year old in A ball is pretty good. Especially with a BB/9 around 2.5.
Morrow - Injuries are a concern, but I believe that he is being developed as a starter. I am not sure, but Putz being dealt may change things. Either way I like him to get around a K per inning while having decent ratios.
I would take Carlos and Morrow as they should both be in the majors this coming season. Also I have never really been a big fan of LaPorta for some reason...
Depends on if you need help now or can wait a year of two to get the help you need.
I'd take LaPorta and Parker most of the time. But if you are in need of the help sooner than later maybe you go the other way. I would be hard for me to pass on the first duo though.

Thes above are close to my thoughts. Laporta is the best of the bunch, especially in terms of upside, but Gonzalez isn't far behind due to Coors and a likely starting gig. I actually like Morrow better than Parker since the upside is close and Parker is far away.
So, I would go with Laporta-Parker unless you don't want to wait. You wouldn't lose much upside by taking the immediate dividend and grabbing Gonzalez-Morrow.
The fact that Carlos Gonzalez was traded to Colorado could boost his immediate value, but he's more of a doubles hitter and given Coors' spacey dimensions, I'd still temper those power expectations (even his doubles rate in the Majors wasn't that great for what it's worth). LaPorta has better power upside and he should be up some time in the immediate future as well.
As for Morrow and Parker, it should be interesting to see how Morrow's transition back to a starter develops and while it'll take some time, I'd say Parker has the edge in upside here too.
Its interesting to see how many people would take a guy who hasn't played a game above A ball over a player who is slated to be in a major league rotation. I would agree that Parker has more upside than Morrow, but with prospects being so volatile I would think that Morrow would be the safe choice here...
Now that Carlos Gonzalez is playing half his games at Coors, I would think that him and LaPorta would be more of a wash. LaPorta has good power, but he hasn't played in a game above AA. I think that LaPorta has more power than Carlos, but I think Carlos will also add some SB which should about equalize their value IMO.
Both sets of guys are close, but I will still take the Gonzalez, Morrow side by a hair due to them being closer to helping your team.

Thanks for the responses guys. It sounds like it was a tossup. So I re-worked the trade and was able to keep Parker.
I traded Matt LaPorta Joel Zumaya
I received Carlos Gonzalez Brandon Morrow
In my league closers are just as valuable as starters but I'm worried Zumaya will (A) never be the same (B) never be given the closers role in Detroit with whispers they are looking to sign a free agent closer.
With the trade of Putz to the Mets, who do you guys think gets a chance to close in Seattle now? If it's Morrow, I'll be giddy. If not, I still like him as a starter.
