In evaluating Choo I think this needs to be taken into consideration...
Shin-Soo Choo said Wednesday that he must serve two years in the Korean military beginning no later than 2010. Choo indicated that his service time requirement could be dropped significantly if he performs well in the Olympics, but that's not a possibility given that he's on the Indians' 25-man roster and out of minor league options. "If you win any kind of medal in the Olympics, you might only have to serve four weeks," said Choo. "The Indians couldn't send me to the minors because I'm out of options. There's too much stress to worry about it now."

That's definitely a concern in keeper leagues... however, I tend to think that if he plays well enough then he'll be able to work something out. Didn't Peja do something in basketball like drill in the summer? Maybe Choo could do the same during the winter for 4 years straight or something.
choo should just marry an american citizen. if he's willing to shell out some money, a fake marriage can be arranged for a green card and eventually an american citizenship.

Uh that is illegal.
