Who to take with the 1st pick??

Hi guys,
My league has finalized there keepers and was have the 1st pick in the draft. Who should i look to pick. I have it down to either Chipper, Abreu, or Damon. I'm thinking of picking Abreu as a 3rd OF that can help across all cats. Any help would be great.

...and even if he isn't healthy 100% of the time, he's easily the best player left. I'd take him and feel comfortable about it.

Agreed with you on Chipper producing when healthy, but I think Abreu will match him in everything but average (where you don't seem to have an issue) and give you an extra 20 SBs.

Abreu on your roster is a better fit. ;-D

i like abreu over chipper as well... but you have decent speed and need more power. I'd probably go with Dye and take the exta HRs.

Agree with the later consensus - Chipper + his replacement for 30 games will probably slightly out-earn Abreu, but not so much so that it overrides your need for OF.
