My Jason Bay and Matt Garza for his Pat Burrell and Robinson Cano is the proposed deal. It's a 10 team Dynasty League with standard cats plus OBP, SLG, K/BB, and Holds, with a pretty shallow FA market in terms of OF and MI. My biggest problem would be how inconsistent Burrell tends to be on a year to year basis, as well as Cano's ability to bounce back and be productive. If I did this trade, I would drop a catcher (probably Shoppach) for either Joe Saunders, Wandy Rodriguez, or Gavin Floyd. Good deal for me? This would allow me to move Wigginton to the OF.
ALWAYS WHIR!
My roster:
C Pablo Sandoval 1B Alex Gordon 2B Dustin Pedroia 3B David Wright SS Hanley Ramirez MI Ty Wigginton CI Jorge Cantu LF Jason Bay CF Ichiro RF Jack Cust OF Denard Span OF Conor Jackson Ut Jeff Clement Bn Jarrod Saltalamacchia Bn Adam Jones Bn Kelly Shoppach
SP Edinson Volquez SP Ricky Nolasco SP James Shields SP Matt Garza RP Brad Lidge RP Joakim Soria RP Kevin Gregg P Kyle McClellan P Max Scherzer P Ubaldo Jimenez Bn John Maine Bn Dustin McGowan (DL bound)
I don't think I would do this. First off you don't have the depth at SP to trade Garza. He is still young and has a lot of potential. I am not a fan of Burrell or Cano and both aren't sure things. Stay pat.

I would pass on this deal, Bay is the younger better OF, and Garza is more a stud and set to be good in the future. While Cano was shaky last year, but the Bay side is way better.
I would stick with Bay/Garza. I do think Cano will have a bounce back year. Get him to pair Cano with a 2-3 round talent in a redraft and that would be a deal to consider.
