How often do you post at work?

Don't most workplaces have measures to know where and how much you're wasting their time?

I was at a job where they didn't care because I only had to be doing something every 15 minutes and anything in between was downtime. I think I'm going to be getting a job as a cable guy which means no posting from work at all!

As long as you get your work done and don't visit inappropriate websites, I've never had a problem with my employees spending time on the interwebs.

i can post from my phone while at work whenever im not busy but i havent been able to login from my phone...its just a vicious circle of login>cockpit>invalid pw>login>cockpit>invalidpw

probably...my last job i was there for 3.5 years and surfed all day and never had an issue, and after 8 months at the new job nobody's complained either (in fact whenever i walk by my bosses office he's surfing)

same as others have said, i get my work done and meet my deadlines, so there shouldnt be an issue.

Umm.. constantly! Whever I get stumped, which is often, I come to the Cafe and then end up losing track of time.

Right, I think a good number of workplaces have been practical in realizing it's a given there will be downtime each day. No need to make everybody fully productive for a full 8 hour day.
