I don't think this changes his draft rankings much. I'd still draft Sexson ahead of Thome and I'd still draft Thome before Sweeney.

I think that it has to drop him in the rankings somewhat. He'll be out for at the minimum 3 weeks and he's a traditionally very slow starter. If he misses the 3 weeks +, will he just start warming up that much later?

His value doesn't change too much because he won't miss much regular season time, if any.

I might bump him down 1 spot, to #3 1B, behind Pujols and Now Delgado.
