ive seen a TON of low priced 32 inch lcd's, especially 720's. personally id opt for the 1080p, but if it doesnt matter much to you, you can get a fairly nice 720i for cheap.
I could be wrong but I heard that you won't see a difference between 720p and 1080p unless your screen size is over 42".

i've heard the same thing, and this will be a secondary TV that doesnt get watched as much (i have a 51" Sony Rear Projection that i dont plan on replacing anytime soon), so 720 is fine with me. i'm looking to spend around $500...i saw a Sharp in that range, may go with that. i plan to just keep looking for deals between now and X-mas and finally settle for something in that range

I recently bought a Sony Bravia 40" for my bedroom and you can notice the difference. Then again, it was released like about a couple of months back (XBR model line); I reckon it has to do with the refresh rate.

Yeah maybe it is because I don't have a lot of free time but unless I am saving like $2000, I don't think waiting in line over night in the cold is worth it.

I was dumb enough to go last year, some of these people are just crazy. i was in the section by the ipods and these two older looking ladies were fighting over the last purple ipod
