Here are my batters: Pujols, Vmart, Agon, Fielder, Hamilton, Cano, Wright, Peralta, Sizemore, Markakis, Asdrubal Cabrerra, Iannetta, Chris Duncan
Here are my pitchers: Webb, Verlander, Hughes, Hamels, Litsch, Blanton, Mariano, Krod, Jenks, Street, Farnsworth, Pinto
I know I am an offensive powerhouse. I was able to build my team that way by basically mortgaging my farm system and pulling some quantity for quality deals.
Bottom line is, i was wondering if it is beneficial for me to trade a big bat for one of these packages.
Here are some offers I have received:
Offer #1 I give: Fielder (2 year contract) Asdrubal Cabrerra (4 year contract)
I get: Edinson Volquez (4 year contract) Nick Swisher (1 year Contract) Noland Reimold (No contract, will receive a 5 year contract when I call him up)
Offer #2 I give: Fielder (2 year contract)
I get: Billy Butler(4 year contract) Francisco Liriano (2 year Contract)
Offer #3 I give: Fielder (2 year contract)
I get: Matt Kemp (3 year contract) Shane Victorino (2 Year contract)
Offer #4 I give: Fielder (2 year contract)
I get: Mark Reynolds (4 Year contract) Max Scherzer (4 year contract)
If I had to choose one, I'd go with option 3 since I like Kemp. However, people are split on Fielder, and I am one of the ones who are extremely high on Fielder for the next 5 or so years. I see Fielder as a 40-50 HR masher over that span and with overall MLB HR output slowly dropping, I see him becoming a top 5 player during this period. I only think Hanley, Reyes, Miggy, and Pujols will outearn him.
I'd stick with Prince.

none of them look like they will help you saying that now, out of all of them the kemp ones the best, but like said before i'd try to get kemp and a pitcher instead of another OF
I don't think it's in your best interest to trade Fielder. You seem eager to though. His value is nowhere near its peak and he's still a young power hitter, a rare commodity. What's wrong with holding onto him? Why not try to trade Gonzalez instead?
While Fielder is a top young talent, I am concerned about his weight and believe those extra pounds will drag his body down over the brutal course of MLB seasons and shorten the length of his productive career. I think we may may never see another year like 2007 out of him. In a keeper league, I'd view him as a "trade high"commodity now and move him if you can find good value. You maybe need to hang on now to find a better deal than what's listed but Kemp plus another decent talent, such as an SP instead of Victorino, would be a good way to go, imo.
