TRADE HELP

I am in an 18 team dynasty and have the following deal on the table....

Gavin Floyd/Reid Brignac for Mark Reynolds.

I have no 3B currently and Floyd is his the last year of his contract. Brignac still is a minor leaguer and has 5 years when called up. Reynolds is good for another 4 years.

What do you guys think?

Mark Reynolds is a great guy for power, but he also broke Ryan Howards record for Ks...Floyd has finally started looking like the starter he was projected to be after being a top prospect in the minors, and Brignac, while not a favorite of mine, is still a good SS prospect. Its isn't that bad of a deal, but unless you are loaded on the pitching side, I would rather roll the dice with Gavin and hope he continues to develop.

I wouldn't do this trade. Floyd will be more valuable than Reynolds this year, and Brignac should be decent in the future in an 18 team league. He won't be much lower than Reynolds probably, so I wouldn't be giving Floyd away, even if it is only for the year.

With the contract considerations, I think I'd make the trade to acquire Reynolds. They're pretty close in my book (you shouldn't have to also give up Brignac).

Depending on who your starters are, I'd probably do this trade. Reynolds has great pop and he should improve.

I'd go Reynolds. I am not huge on Floyd, and I believe despite his inability to make contact, Reynolds could hit 40 HRs soon.
