What prospect are you trading? I think Gallardo should have a pretty good year. I bought him for a pretty low price last year in my Dynasty league so I am kind of biased.

Gallardo should be a good #2 this year, but he has the stuff to develop into a #1. I would deal just about any prospect for him other than maybe Kershaw and Wieters, who I would have to think long and hard about.

it would be a prospect such such as moustakas or smoak....more of a question of whether he is worthy of a spot on my 10 keeper list.....;.

Well I would deal either of those prospect for him without question. Who are your 10 keepers? Hard to say if he's worthy without knowing his competition.

I think he should be kept in a 16 team 10 keeper league. What player is currently your 10th keeper? If Gallardo is a significant upgrade then you should do it. But if you're dropping someone similar to Gallardo then you might as well hang onto your prospect.

It sounds like Gallardo is a fringe keeper on the other team as well, and he's trying to recoup a good prospect rather than have to drop him. You need to ask yourself....is Gallardo worth Smoak and your present 10th keeper in a trade?

here is more info....the team with gallardo is trading him to another team for the purpose of swinging him to me...my 10th would be lowe or myers...who i dont want to keep...i won last year with a veteran lineup so i want to get some young talent with upside on my team..i figured gallardo fits the bill..i will have to throw either smoak or moose back anyway.....i can only keep one of those 2,.....

I like this trade now that this missing info is included.

And I like Smoak more than moustakas, but both are good prospects.

Gallardo is an excellent keeper choice in a league that keeps 160 players.
