Everything I've read has Strasburg as one of the best ever college arms, especially statswise, but he's up there stuffwise too. He's way ahead of Crow.

I have to agree - it is hard to imagine him not going #1. PP had an interesting analysis on his mechanics:

To be fair, Strasburg's competition is not as good as the others on the list.

I hope that Strasburg continues his strong college career and becomes the phenom for the Nationals that he is hyped up to be. It can only be good for baseball and Washington.....well and me because I have the #1 prospect pick in my dynasty prospect draft this season
I've just read recently in a news article that the Nats are very much looking forward to selecting Strasburg with the #1 pick next year. Some people have speculated that Boras will screw them over and the Nats might pass, but I can not see that happening considering he is already considered a franchise player and isn't even in the minor leagues yet. The Nats will pony up the money (even if it is the reported $10 million that Boras is looking for).
