Here are my batters+
Pujols, Vmart, Agon, Fielder, Hamilton, Cano, Wright, Peralta, Sizemore, Markakis

Here are my Starters+
Webb, Verlander, Hughes, Hamels, Litsch, Blanton

I know I am an offensive powerhouse. I was able to build my team that way by basically mortgaging my farm system and pulling some quantity for quality deals.

Here are the possible deals:

DEAL #1
I get:
Evan Longoria (4 year contract)
Chros Young, Outfielder (3 year contract)
Max Scherzer (4 year contract

I give:
Prince Fielder (2 year contract)
Nick Markakis (2 year contract)
Andy Laroche (5 year contract)

DEAL #2
I get:
Chad Billingsley (3 year contract)
Chase Headley (5 Year contract)

I give:
Prince Fielder (2 year contract)
Andy Laroche (5 year contract)


Does this deal make sense for me? The way I was thinking about it was that while i take a little hit offensively, I boost my pitching a little and get guys signed a little longer. Question is, is this worth it?

No. I would definitely look to move Fielder tho.

You're giving up a bit too much for Longoria on the first trade and although you're more on the right track with the second deal, it's still a no. I'd shop Fielder too, but you should still remain selective. I think the first deal for Longoria is fine but downgrade from Markakis in the trade.

I don't really like either offer. I would try to rework the Longoria trade, only without Markakis involved.
