It's here. After years of my threads and saying it was about to come out, it actually, finally, is.
It's being released exclusively through Best Buy on Sunday, November 23rd. Now I know most of you still don't care, but they put up the album on their myspace last night, so you can hear all the songs for free. I encourage you to just check a few of them out and give them a chance. My personal favorite is "There Was A Time."
And don't forget, even if you hate Guns N' Roses, Dr. Pepper is offering a free drink to everyone because they released the album this year. Go to the Dr. Pepper website on 11/23 to print out the coupon.
These don't sound the same as the ones I heard on Youtube a while back. They still aren't very good but they aren't as terrible as the ones I heard. Modern hard rock fans might like it though.

I was never a huge Guns n Roses fan, but they have some decent songs. I listened to this fully expecting disappointment. What I didn't expect was R Kelly beats and autotune. This is ridiculous. Actually, a better word than "ridiculous" might be "schizophrenic." It's so disjointed. Almost sounds like this is an album that was worked on, changed, and transformed over a 15 year period or something.
That being said, I'm rooting for Axl to triumph on this in spite of everyone hating on him.
Also, it's kind of absurd how much publicity/hype/build up this has, and how much people still care about this album and Axl after so many years.
I still listen to Appetite for Destruction pretty regularly but all their other stuff is pretty crappy. Actually Lies is pretty decent as well. They are like Pearl Jam. Two good albums and the rest is just crappy.
"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that." ~George Carlin
You can see how people dislike the album because each song has fewer plays than the one before it. If they liked it they would be like "Hmm, lemme listen to the next one"...
