He is probably considered amongst the top 3 pitching prospects by now and has four pitches that are generally rated as plus by scouts. While he's been great in the minors a some scouts seem to think his stuff plays more like a #2/#3 pitcher. Kinda like Jered Weaver. Good and very useful in fantasy, but not great. Others see him as a number one or two. Keep in mind though that people had the same hestitancy when talking about someone like Jon Lester. Most agree though that he's ready for the bigs or really close. Apparently, he's going to get a shot at making the team out of spring training.
He once hit a ball between my legs so hard that my center-fielder caught it on the fly backing up against the wall.
If Satch (Paige) and I were pitching on the same team, we would clinch the pennant by July fourth and go fishing until World Series time.
