Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Minnesota Twins outfielder Torii Hunter suffered a sprained left wrist during Friday's 10-4 victory over a split squad of Cincinnati Reds in Grapefruit League action.
Hunter sustained the injury while attempting to make a leaping catch at the fence in the fourth inning. He was taken to a local hospital for X-rays, which fortunately came back negative.
Last season for the Twins, Hunter batted .250 with 26 homers and 102 RBI in 154 games. He has captured a Gold Glove in each of the last three years and was an All-Star in 2002.
