I have $25,878,800 free space of cap room after all of my cuts. Taking on Burnett would cut that to like half with me still needing to find a 1b and a 3bman. Ouch.

The 12 million price tag would be the bigger factor to me, especially if you struggled to get under the cap. Brunett also has a habit doing great in contract years and not so hot once the ink is dry on the next contract.. plus the injury history.

Would not do it.
