hey guys i'm in an 18 team dynasty league and my team isn't ready to compete yet
I have Billy Butler locked up cheap for the next 4 years but have been offered Chris Carter the slugger from Oakland and an 8th pick in our minor league draft- likely to be Yonder Alonso, Gordan Beckham or Brett Wallace. I can hold Carter and this pick in my minor league system as long as i want and it wouldn't cost me anything.
What do you think

Butler is my choice. He is approx. same age as Carter and has 2 years of MLB experience. Butler was a top 10 prospect only 2 years ago and was heralded as a potential 1000 OPS threat yearly. From what I know of Carter he is a big swing little contact type of player, w/ 30+ HR, 199 K potentials.

Another Butler vote
He once hit a ball between my legs so hard that my center-fielder caught it on the fly backing up against the wall.
If Satch (Paige) and I were pitching on the same team, we would clinch the pennant by July fourth and go fishing until World Series time.
