I never thought that I would even be considering Ken Griffey at this point and time, but in the thirteenth round I find myself needing outfielders. Do you think Junior will retun to old form this year in Cincy or will his woes continue?

or

I have 5 SP already, but one more promising young pitcher could never hurt could it? Rich Harden perhaps?

Us A's fans have high hopes for Harden. But he is a #5 starter so he wont be getting as many starts. And he is young and needs time to mature.

yeah i find myself taking harden as my number 5 starter and wondering whether or not that was a good move. i dunno how i feel aboput him in that slot when odalis perez is a FA.

as for griffey, i dunno, give him ANOTHER go in the 13th. make sure you have a backup on the bench tho.

I've heard Harden isn't going to be skipped in the rotation like most #5's are....they want to give him the reps....I'd jump on him. As for Griffey....sounded good in '99...........

The only round and I mean ONLY round I would consider Griffey is round 20 or above. No way am I going to make that same mistake for 3 years in a row. I don't care if he hits .600 with 25 hrs this spring. <img src=/forums/images/smiles/kiss.gif>
