tough keeper decision

pick 5:
Pujols
Santana
Peavy
Braun
Rollins
Hamilton
Markakis
Beltran
Phillips
Kazmir
Billingsley
McCann

pick 1:
Kershaw
Kuroda
C. Davis
C. Gomez

Right now leaning towards Pujols, Santana, Braun, Hamilton, Rollins and Davis. I can also trade for draft picks. Thoughts?

I'm guessing that this is a 4 team league.

I like your 5 except I like Kershaw as the 6th better.

Close but it is a 10 team league. I still lost in the finals.

Yeah but Peavy out of Petco won't be worth as much although he may have better support.

What about Beltran or Markakis? Should I consider those guys over Rollins? I feel like I will be short on speed.

After looking through the names, this was easier than I thought. Davis is a no-brainer, and Markakis is the only player on that list I'd even contemplate keeping over any of the five, but he doesn't run enough to justify keeping three OFs.

I was going to put Beltran instead of Rollins, but you might as well keep Rollins because you're already keeping 2 OF and there's a big drop-off after the top 3 SS.

I agree with everyone else on your 5. Chris Davis is who I would keep for the minors picks. There are some fantasy players who think he is the next Ryan Howard. You could get a lot for him in trade.
