Does anyone know about McGowen's status for next year ? I know he had surgery, but I haven't seen any news on him at all. Thanks in advance.

word is that he will be out at least a couple of months. I think I read last week that May might be an optimistic starting point as far as a timetable for his return. Hope that helps.

Pitchers returning from labrum surgery usually don't interest me much. It doesn't have a success rate like TJ. Usually not always they come back without their pre-injury stuff. just my two cents.
