Standard 5x5 roto league. Keep 5 guys year to year.
CC is currently in my keeper plans, as would Longo if I were to snag him.
I plan on keeping: Jose Reyes Chase Utley Alex Rios CC Sabathia Dan Haren
Other keeper options are Felix Hernandez, Corey Hart, AJ Burnett. I'd like to keep 3 bats and two arms. If this is swung, I'd keep Felix and Longo, and drop Rios.
Based on this, does CC for Longo make sense?
Thanks in advance, and leave a link if you'd like an opinion of your own.

I'd actually try to trade CC if I were you. His value in any format will never be higher than it is right now. He's had two straight seasons of a heavy workload and it's also becoming increasingly likely that he'll sign with the Yankees. You could probably get a lot for him right now, and a 23-year old Felix is a huge asset in a keeper league. Get a bigger bat to replace Rios and stash Felix as a keeper.
I would hang onto CC over C. Lee, but honestly, I think Lee is pretty solid for the next couple of years. It might not make much of a difference as you can always trade Lee for someone next year. That said, CC is perceived as an elite SP, but I can't see anyone handing you Arod or Pujols or Wright or any other round 1/2 talent. C. Lee who is round 3-5 talent is about right straight up.
That said, keep away from King Flop. I much rather have Sabathia or Lee. Felix Hernandez is the player that year in and year out everyone says is great and is going to break out and be this stud SP. Someday they may be right, but so far we have seen very mediocre numbers. I know he is young, but he has been in the Majors for 3+ years now. Posting ERAs of 4.52. 3.92 and 3.45 and progressively deteriorating WHIPS of 1.34, 1.38 and 1.39. Take away the hype and you may just see a pitcher that is OK but not great and perpetually over-valued.

So he's 23, and has cut his ERA by over a run in a three year period with basically the same WHIP, and he's King Flop? Give him a break, he's younger than Cain, Lincecum, Kazmir, you and me.
Anyways, in a keeper format, I'd shoot for a young guy like Upton or Longoria for CC. Give yourself some long-term stability.
