If you try to move someone I would move McLouth. He faded badly in the 2nd half and I'm not sure the first half McLouth is coming back.

This is only partially correct. His SLG did fall yes, but he was able to steal 12 bases and get on base at about the same clip as he did in the first half of the season. I think his contact numbers point towards a similar season next year, but agree to disagree I suppose.

Badly might have been a stretch but you really expect a similar season to 07?

I guess I just don't see a repeat of the power and expect a dip in R and RBI.

I think he could approach those numbers, yes. He's basically played at a high level since the second half of '07. I don't think he's a fluke.

If you're looking to trade, I'd shop McLouth and Dice-K around. McLouth's 2nd half fade was probably due to Jason Bay departing, but I think his power normalized even if he pans out to be the 20-25 HR/25-30 SB variety, which still makes him worth keeping. Dice-K was lucky this season as he still sustained a high walk count and I think he and Cain are about interchangeable. I'd give Verlander another shot hoping that last year was more of a tired-arm effect than a regression in mechanics.

Thanks again for the help guys. I am working on a Dice K trade now, I may be able to get a 1st and 3rd round pick for him. I'm also thinking of flipping the 1st rd pick I get for Dice and trading it for Lester... Good idea?
