Any reports on how his injury is coming along. I looked but couldn't find any thing recent. Any predictions on him making a full comeback?

Last I heard was due back in July / August. I expect him to go to the pen. Perhaps closer depending on what happens this offseason. If K Rod not kept, and Arredondo or Shields struggle, I could see him taking the role.

he will probably be starting the season in the middle relief role out of the bullpen

From what I have read, he is looking great and back in the mid 90's. Reports have him shooting for an April return....he is my top waiver claim on my teams that need pitching.

I picked him up the day after my draft, but had to drop K. Green , figgured he'd be put on the DL soon and I could go back and get Green or Tejada to back up my SS. Any idea when they announce DL spots?

I dropped the closer for Detroit, and picked up Escobar. I figure, he'll be put up on the DL, and I can pick up another closer after the 1st few weeks of the season. I won my league two years ago with K-Rod John Lackey and Escobar as 3 of my 10 pitchers.

Escobar tonight:
6IP, 1 H, 0 BB, 0 ER,
8 SO , 0.00 ERA
Pick him up now, he's gonna be good unless/
until he gets injured.
