That does seem like a decent team. Make sure you rotate your speed guys in to get SB's.

I would also consider trading one of your power hitters and either Mantei or Benitez for another top-tier closer. You can't start all of those power guys so you might as well make sure you win some of the pitching cats.

Do you think this strategy could work in a H2H yahoo public league?
Do you think its worth trying for fun. I already have other teams!

Good work, I have used this technique in past years and it usually works. I also usually keep an ace (like prior) as a starter, because one or more of your RP might get rocked, and then you could be screwed witout some balance.

Actually, in one of my leauges that counts HLDs I have:
Prior
Peavy (On DL)
Willis
Perez

Shields
Rincon
Otsuka
Lidge
K-Rod
Cordero
benitez

Every week I start two Starters and all the RP listed, I'm doing pretty well =)

It wont work, what happens if you in the playoffs and your closer blows a save you will be f-ed up. Who says you will be able to get top closers?

bk did u see my last post that im 29.5 up? my closers are Benitez, Smoltz, Izzy, Guardado, and Affeldt now. They are looking pretty good and i might try to trade away some hitting for another top guy.

My offense has changed a little too. After a few trades this is how my hitting looks:
C J. Posada (NYY - C)
1B T. Helton (Col - 1B)
2B A. Soriano (Tex - 2B)
3B A. Huff (TB - 1B,3B,RF,DH)
SS Á. Rodríguez (NYY - 3B,SS)
OF C. Beltrán (KC - CF)
OF G. Sheffield (NYY - RF)
OF C. Crawford (TB - LF) -
Util C. Lee (CWS - LF)
Util D. Lee (ChC - 1B)
BN S. Podsednik (Mil - CF)
BN B. Giles (SD - LF,CF,RF)
BN M. Teixeira (Tex - 1B,3B)
BN A. Jones (Atl - CF)
BN L. WalkerDL (Col - RF)
BN P. Wilson(Col - CF)
DL M. GilesDL (Atl - 2B)
DL E. ChávezDL (Oak - 3B)

I would hope you were winning, you have basically 5 first round picks on your offense.
