Why not abstain on principle? There's no reason to keep feeding the beast.

see im undecided as well as probably leaning toward obama, but the kicker is that there is a real possibility mccain dies while in office, and palin takes over. that my friends, pushes me over the undecided line.

Don't wanna be stuck with the greater of two evils. :-t I don't understand the logic of not voting when there's a clearly lesser evil.

That's such a bad argument/statement. Anybody can write in any candidate they want that is allowed under the laws of the Constitution. Do that. Nobody is forced to vote for the candidates on the ballot. If all of the online community that's for Ron Paul would vote for him, or if the upset Hillary fans would vote for her, etc, etc, we'd be a step closer to actually embracing other options than the endorsed Democratic and Republican candidates. They might not win but it would send a stronger message than not voting at all. I don't think you should vote for the lesser of two evils; you should vote for the person you think would be best for the job whoever that may be. The closer we get to 100 percent voting the better our candidates are going to be, and the more they will represent the American people. No offense meant to you Rugby because a lot of people are in your camp, but abstaining from voting is one of the worst and most stupid ways to make a point because you're really not making one, you're just being lumped in with a group that didn't care in the first place.

Statements like this just make me laugh. Because while I agree that of the two major party candidates there is a "clearly lesser evil" I'm going to guess that I completely disagree with who you think that candidate is. :-B :-b

I'm either voting for Bob Barr or writing in Ron Paul. :-)

I thought you wanted Palin for President? Guess you changed your mind. I don't blame you.

I was also curious as to how McCain plans on buying up bad mortgages while a proposed spending freeze would be in place? He certainly didn't mention the housing crisis when talking about what wouldn't be frozen.

Yeah, she's lost a lot of her luster.

[off topic]One of the guys I work with just told me that the whole Kouric interview was completely cut up and edited out of context to make her look bad. They apparently re-aired the thing and it wasn't anywhere near as bad as it seemed when it was first released. I have no idea whether this is true or not but it was interesting.[/off topic]

Although I still have to say that if I only had two choices and they were Obama and Palin, I'd pick Palin. I just don't like anything that Obama stands for. I've been through his website a few times and disagree with pretty much every policy he supports. :-b

I doubt that the Kouric interview was chopped up. Even if it was, she still looked like a complete imbecile and can't give a straight answer to anything. Most of things that come out of her mouth are clichéd one liners or written for her on a card. They are smart to try and keep a lid on her. The less she speaks, the better for the Repubs IMO. It is painfully obvious how unqualified and unintelligent she is.

Just out of curiosity, which Obama policies do you disagree with?
