Yahoo Draft..Technical Help

Postby princethomas » Fri Mar 05, 2004 7:20 pm

Hi my league and I want to do the first 6 rounds of our draft via email. But we really dont have the time to do the whole thing that way.
I plan to have everyone exclude all the players drafted by other teams and then put their 6 players as the top on their pre ranking list.
for the auto draft...Will this work?

Im worried that the yahoo autodraft will try to outsmart us and maybe it wont take all of our guys right away if there are any positional issues....what do you all think?

That will work! As long as everyone follows the instructions and lists their top 6 picks in the correct order.

how did you want to do the rest of the draft?
i would imagine that your plan ought to work reasonably well, however, the more players you predraft the larger the chance that yahoo will outsmart you.

Im really worried about this. Because it sure seemed like agood idea and we all agreed to do it.
I didnt plan to go more than 6 rounds. Actually 2 keepers and 4 rounds of draft.

I thought maybe we could just exclude all the players and then pick them up after the draft. But that might not be good because then yahoo would be drafting guys early in positions that we already have with our draftees.

Boy this sure seemed like a good idea. I guess its all or nothing with Yahoo.

Hey what happens if you do offline draft? What if we do that and only enter 6 rounds...will they let you autopick the rest?
