I think the Indians would be best served to hold onto him at this point. His trade value may be at it's peak, but as someone else mentioned, he's quite cost effective. Also, considering it remains to be seen what Hafner can do this year, it might not be bad having him around so that they can shuffle Shoppach/V-Mart/ Garko around catcher/1st/DH. If I was a Sox fan I'd also like to see them not focus on Shoppach but instead dangle Masterson to the Rangers (who Yahoo!'s blurb box says have interest) for either Teagarden straight up (arms and catchers both being of huge value, and each having a glut at the respective positions) or Salty or Max Ramirez and another prospect. Isn't hot stove time awesome?
