I am setting the bar at 73, which could be incredibly adventageous (and is, of course, subject to change). What do you guys think if you had to choose right now?
I honestly haven't looked at the team. I'm scared to. I just don't see much to be excited about. I'm still a fan, I just have no delusions of grandeur.
Do we have a starting rotation?

I'm actually quite optimistic about the rotation. Felix-Bedard-Morrow is a downright nasty 1-2-3 if they're healthy. Heilman could be in there if he's not closing, and Rowland-Smith is solid, so the only weak link is Silva, who could be helped by improved defense. I think 75 wins is a good number to shoot for, and I love what Z is doing so far.
I think they'll finish ahead of Texas, but aside from that, the upside is gone. And really the only reason I think they will finish ahead of Texas is that I think Bedard and Felix have full, healthy seasons.
If either of those things don't happen, it's a 70ish win season. With them healthy, maybe a .500 team.

I don't know, I think they're going to surprise. For one, they weren't as bad as their record last year. Second, there's been quite a bit of improvement already, simply from getting Gutierrez, Chavez, Branyan/Shelton, and Griffey. I really think they're a 75-78 true talent win team right now, and if Felix breaks out and Bedard stays healthy, you could very well be looking at contention. The Angels and A's are not very good either.
