OK, because someone jinxed it in an earlier thread and on the first post of this one, I'll play along:

Divisional Series:
Los Angeles Angels def. Boston Red Sox (5 games)
Tampa Bay Rays def. Chicago White Sox (4 games)
Los Angeles Dodgers def. Chicago Cubs (4 games)
Philadelphia Phillies def. Milwaukee Brewers (5 games)

League Championship Series:
Los Angeles Angels def. Tampa Bay Rays (6 games)
Los Angeles Dodgers def. Philadelphia Phillies (7 games)

World Series:
Los Angeles Dodgers def. Los Angeles Angels (7 games)

The Cubs are obviously the most consistent of the NL bunch, but it's a very winnable series for the Dodgers with the short series evening their chances. If D-Lowe pitches up to form and Billingsley gets a handle on those walks, the Dodgers should be in it. They haven't gotten over the Wrigley hoodoo this year, but that's why the Dodgers have a talisman in Manny.

I'd say this is the year the Angels finally get over the first-round hump against Boston but they're so evenly matched and it'll be a toss-up. I, like any self-respecting anti-Boston sports fan will be supporting the team down south in "Los Angeles".

You folks back in the Midwest/East can resume ice fishing season if a Freeway Series is in store (who cares about ratings after all). Frankly, I think the Freeway Series is still too friendly, but a tight 7-game World Series/I-5 derby will hopefully change that.

I am pulling for the Cubs, Dodgers, Rays, in that order. But as long as Boston loses, I won't be upset. I think the winner of LA/Chc goes to the World Series. The series is a coin flip for me. I think the Dodgers have a pitching advantage, and while the Cubs are overall a better team, I just have visions of Manny going berserk and dominating the world.

That statement didn't have to do with my picks, it had to do with my personal feelings. Boston winning is the only scenario that I'd be upset with. Unfortunately, I don't see Tampa or Chicago beating them in a 7 game series, so it's either the Angels or the NL. Hopefully the Angels get them out of the way early, although I'll admit the Series would be more fun if it were Sox-Cubs or Sox-Dodgers.

theres alot of talk in the Media about this is the Cubs year and how they are the best team in the NL, but the Dodgers since acquiring Ramirez have a better record than the Cubs. the Dodgers also have Furcal back leading off at SS.
