which one do u guys think is better?





i spent quite a bit of time on #1, but after i tried out a simple motion blur, i relized i kind of liked that better. im 99% sure snakes will like 2 better, since its "cleaner" .

haha you'd be exactly right. i dont know why, but whatever that style or effect you, and other people use on number 1, i just dont like. its obviously a personal opinion, but just me. which is why i suggest to people to try their own things and styles.

I have to say I like the 2nd one better as well. I'm not too sure what's going on in the first one (like the checkered pattern on the left--I'm not quite sure what that is).

i definitely like the cleaner look of the 2nd one. not too big of a fan of the matsui one, it just feels cluttered. i really, really like the broxton one though, nice job on that.

too empty on the whole top right side. plus, the coloring is weird to me, unless of course he was traded to the marlins. also, the cut on the back of casilla's head looks a little sloppy and id try to make the render of casilla pop a little more.

i think thats pretty much the same problem with the matsui sig, i just couldnt really think of how to put it into words. 'pop' is definitely a good way to put it, they just seem to blend in with the background a bit too much.
