Nolasco and Pelfrey have been pleasant surprises as has Werth in one on my 12-team dynasties. In my other, I'd have to give it to multiple Royals, Soria, Meche, and Aviles, but Nolasco, Pelfrey, and Werth are on this team as well.

Ditto...he's been a BEAST for me and single-handedly got me into the Championship with his 3 HR week last week.

Werth, Dukes and Josh Johnson have also played major roles in my team's success this year and none of them were on my team prior to the All-Star Break... ;-D

mine would have to be my FA closers. i drafted valverde, soriano, and gagne %-6

was able to pick up fuentes and torres, giving me 3rd place in saves.

although mora has been awesome as well. until recently, he was my team leader in rbi. now its ibanez (drafted him 175 overall) 8-o

Randy Winn. I play in a format with 3 OF and 2 U (13 teams), and due to various injuries have used Winn almost the whole year and have zero to complain about.

Runner-up prize goes to Milledge, who has been golden since he came back from the DL.

My MVP's

16 team league:

Jon Lester and Gil Meche. I drafted Lester late, picked Meche up off WW. Both have been fantastic for me
Brandon Morrow, Mike Gonzalez and Frank Francisco. Picked these guys up before they started closing, on a hunch, and the hunch paid off. I was last in saves now I am middle-of-the road. 7 points is not to be sneezed at.

10 team keeper:

My team here is pretty sick - Hanley, A-Rod, Sizemore, Lincy, Webb, Sabathia. But there has been some unsung heroes.

Aubrey Huff. I traded Tex for pitching and picked Huff off the FA list. He's been as good or better than Tex and keeping my 1B position going.

Adam LaRoche. The guy is just unbelievable. Couldnt be worse in the first two months, and then completely turns it around.

Brian Wilson, Got him as a piece in the trade of Tex, and he's been great since. Cant quite say the same for Big Z and Harang, whom I also got, but they sure have been awesome in the last couple weeks.

I also have to give props to Mike Napoli, who is my backup to McCann. He doesnt play much - probably about 7 games this year. But in those 7 games he has hit 5 home runs.

Doh! Can't believe I forgot him. I think he single-handedly landed me in the playoffs in one of my leagues. ;-D

After today's performence I'll give Zack Greinke a vote, although my team is full of a lot of these guys.
